Automotive Technology


The mission of the Automotive Technology program is to advance the prior skills and knowledge of interested students, provide factory certifications and internships to highly qualified second year students.

The Automotive Technology Program is an ASE Accredited two year program that provides all high school junior and senior students the opportunity to start a very rewarding and demanding career in the automotive industry. Our program is designed to be the first step in making this a realistic goal for all highly motivated students that complete the two year program. Partnering with local new and used car dealerships afford students to get as close to market skills and knowledge in the current field. We repair mostly actual customer vehicles to work on ranging from basic service work to diagnostics.

Online learning is standard practice in the Automotive Industry and is a requirement for this program. Academic online materials must be mastered prior to working in the lab.

Outcomes:
NC3 Industry Certifications, Safety and Pollution Certificates, Automotive Lift Certification. Exposure and Internships in a New/Used Car Dealership, and numerous other industry recognized credentials and certifications including multi-meters, battery and charging systems, and tire changing systems. Paid Tuition opportunities for Automotive Associate Degree Programs for qualified students.
